Refurbishment announced for Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina

The early part of 2012 will see Le Méridien Mina Seyahi closed for refurbishment.

Complex General Manager Stewart Selbie said "the refurbishment of Le Méridien Mina Seyahi will infuse the interiors with classic chic decor which is part of the brands dynamic focus on culture and refinement and comprises a refurbishment of all guest rooms and public areas. In addition to the refined new lobby décor, we will be introducing the latest Le Méridien brand concepts which include the Latest Recipe Restaurant along with The Hub and Latitude Bar."

Due to the extent of the works the hotel will close from 12 February 2012 to 20th October 2012; however all other areas will operate as usual including Barasti, Club Mina & Horizon Pool and Bar.

Selbie did not reveal the value of the refurbishment but said: "We are delighted that the property will be fully renovated which will firmly re-establish Le Méridien Mina Seyahi as one of Jumeirah Beach's leading hotels."

The project will be managed by BSBG and Wasl Projects.

A: Inline with our commitment of continually improving our services and facilities, Le Méridien Mina Seyahi will upgrade its hotel rooms, guest corridors, lobby area, reception and food and beverage outlets.

A: Renovations will take place from 12 February to 20 October 2012.During this period the hotel will be closed however pool areas, Club Mina, Barasti and Horizon will operate as normal.

A: Le Méridien Mina Seyahi will be closed to all hotel guests over this period. The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina will be operating as normal along with all recreation facilities and will have no impact on the guest experience.

Q: Will the renovation be audible/visible from the pool/beach/restaurants or other recreation areas including The Westin Dubai?
